I read, oh I don't know, maybe 100 blog posts a day. and that is just the ones from my reader.
Usually those posts result in my clicking through to more posts and more posts and then I have to get out my wetsuit because I get up to some crazy internet surfing. I love internet surfing.


sometimes, I think it is nice to say thanks for all those posts. To someone at least.
so these are my top five blog posts of the week. if you are not here, you are still top too.

I have been trying for a while now to come up with a funny post, or even just to generally become a funny blogger. There are some blogs out there that have me smiling from title to very last paragraph (and I must admit an occasional "laugh out loud"), eg studio mela blog, marmee craft. EDIT: and anna laura (lol i knew there was someone else! Well actually there are probably many many more, I love all my bloggers out there.)Sometimes it is not so much about actually being funny, but having a special way of putting things that makes me happy, and comfortable. I think I have had many posts about wanting to revolutionalise the way I post. Maybe one day. All I know is that every day when I log into my reader, I get that little pang of excitement when I see that my favourites have a new post (or even two!).

I have been working really hard in my little studio of late, trying to come up with lots of new things. Postcards, gift tags. More notebooks, they are all there way so keep your eyes peeled!!

I sure do spend a lot of time checking out the successful stores of etsy. Maybe its an obsession of mine, maybe it is just because I look at these stores with such amazement and think to my self.... wow. I guess it gives me something to aspire to.

What I have started to notice is that these very successful stores, e.g. ashleyg and the black apple have such hugely successful (or would you say popular) blogs. Everything stems from their blog. kitty genius and inside a black apple. When they are next posting something original or rare so people can be there the second they post it. Right down to what they ate for breakfast. They have a following of people.


I love posting blogs, i love reading blogs and i love having a blog. I dont want my blog to be just about every time I post something new in my shop. But then again that is largely what I am excited about. What interests people enough to come back to my blog? I would love to know if anyone did stalk my blog, like I stalk so many others. hehe.

Well that was just a little bit of self expression for you all. Maybe you need to expect more of this.
