morning lovelies!
it seems super weird saying this, but that isn't going to stop me. {twin set} has launched. {twin set} is something I have been excited about for months (! WOW time flies) now and you don't understand how excited I am to "reveal".
{twin set} is an online shop (based here in Australia) that sells off beat retro & quirky vintage. It has gorgeous dresses, pretty pictures and I know you are going to love it. In conjunction with the shop, the {twin set} blog also launches today. Be sure to follow this blog for all things pretty, eco-friendly, Australian where possible, vintage and just generally sweet things and finds.
So why all the fuss from me?? Oh right. Because super amazing Angela (Leeloo.com.au) and I, well, it is our business! So much hardwork, laughs, fun and crazy times went into this business, and we are so so super proud to be sharing all the excitement with you today!! Hear more about our story and ideas here.
I think this was one of the most exciting parts,
seeing this "book" come together the way it has!!!!
would LOVE to hear what you think!!! Because it has been such a long time in the making, it can be a bit overwhelming!!! xxxxxx
remember these babies from a little while back?? I finally got my self into gear and got some sweet ACEOs printed. they look rather super cute, and would be lovely framed as a series. $5 USD. cheap cheap!
[and don't forget: FREE SHIPPING all this month]
what a bore I have been with my etsy shop. well not anymore!! lots of new things listed last night and LOTS LOTS more to come. I hope you see something you like.
I also am trying to get fancy with my photos, I might do a post to show you my photos from a few years a go. While I still have A LOT to learn, I think I have come a fair way. What do you think??

[all new ACEOs in my shop]
And don't forget, submissions close this Friday. Thank you so much for all the submissions so far. I can't wait to share more details with you all about this fantastic event!!

well I was all set up on my boyfriends laptop, about to write a blog post titled "#TECHNOLOGYFAIL", because for the last hour my laptop has not been working.
but it suddenly is now, so all is fine. I don't know how it happened, but it is not up to me to question the almighty mac.
instead, I shall blog about something more visually exciting. the beginnings of a new series I am working on. working title shall be.... "chemical cocktail". but that will probably change.
so here we are.

and thank you to a lovely flickr person - (who actually turns out to be rebecca murphy![sweet artist!] for passing on this hilariously relevant (and not to mention cute) clip.
As much as I am against food supermarkets, super cool web-based art and design sort of ones are totally fine by me.
In fact they are very fine and you might remember my excitement from here.
Well that excitement has increased greatly since I have been accepted as a seller at the wonderful here design and art online store.

In other news,
I have been trying to get some
more pictures happening for my
Giclee prints that I sell
(here AND NOW Supermarket ),
so would love to know what you think?
Do they entice you to buy? hehe
Over the last few days I finally found a few moments to my self (despite my brother just getting a new puppy!! Photos soon to come). So I got drawing and come up with two very different, and I guess equally experimental pieces. The first one (top) I guess is more similar to my "usual" however I drew on textured paper which was a bit tricky to handle. I then cut out a window for the top and stuck some lovely material that my nan gave me behind. I have made some prints onto the same paper that I drew them on, (the texture is lovely). And you have check them out in my shop.

This second one I decided to introduce two ladies! The model I drew these from name is sarah, hence the title sarahsarah. This was drawn in graphite then digitally coloured and then printed onto stonehenge, but it was so hard then to get the colours right when i rescanned the print. I did my best, but if you are interested in a print the colours may vary slighty ;)
This is one of my biggest prints at 8x10 in so i can included a detail shot so you can see some, well, detail!!! they should be in my shop now (or if you are a super quick blog reader maybe very soon! )
