Going Green

If you are like me and need your cappuccino hit daily (maybe even twice daily!) then you might want to think about getting yourself a niffty little reusable take-away cup. I love my T2 thermo mug that my Mum kindly bought for me, but use whatever you fancy, just try to avoid the disposable take-away cup. (Most nice coffee places should give you a discount too, if they don't, go someplace else! hehe)

Please don't forget

the poor little animals who are also being effected.

Please dontate to the RSPCA Victoria. Remember that no amount is ever too small.

xx

Thanks Nan

Melbourne Bush Fires

I feel like I want to say some thing important about the tradedgy that has happened in Melbourne. But I really don't have words.

As this is a public domain I just want to say that my thoughts are with all the families effected during such a terrible time.

Can I manage to

create an artwork every day?
Maybe I should aim for once a week.
I have a room full of art supplies. Yet I always seem to want to buy more.
Mission: Use up every last piece of artish supplies. Nothing new is to be purchased.
Lets get creating.

Well as I believe I have mentioned that I created a worked for the upcoming Sketchel exhibition to be held at Gallery 696.

I sent off my finished piece to them through the week, however, sadly, the canvas that I drew my work on was not the correct type, so it doesn't work with the Sketchel!

Oh dear! I am so frustrated at my self for being so silly.

I am still working on a solution at the moment, but for now I shall leave you with some pictures that I took before I send the canvas off. And  never mind, I shall be able to use the drawing in one way or another!!!

sketchel vs 696

It may have been awhile since I posted. New year has been rather good so far. But I am  excited to mention that I am busy working on my submission for the sketchel vs 696 exhibition, down in Melbourne in the wonderful 696 gallery! I shall post some photos soon!

I promise I shall get creating and more so revealing!

Hope all is well with all.

I was so excited to be able to be apart of this lovely cause. A few of my Leeloo friends and I have added our own special touch to some of Cat Davison's sweet record bowls. Not only are they now available for purchase, but the proceeds go to the RSPCA, a charity of particular relevance and importance around Christmas time when people may not been thinking wisely in regards to new pet choices.

Check them out here and help out. And remember to steer clear of pet shops this christmas, if you are serious about adding a pet to your family this time of year, pay your local animal shelter a visit.

Merry Christmas!!!

and check out this gorgeous little shop.

In my hunt for all handmade presents this christmas I bought a little writing set as a pressie (and a couple of notebooks for myself! I mean may as well save on postage!!), and can I just say, it is even better than I expected!

I love stationery and this stuff is so sweet and lovely, I promise you will love it.

Attend if you can!
